BRAMPTON— In Danny Raposo’s kitchen, the chef wears a black bandana and a leather vest.

He also makes a mean Peri Peri chicken, and isn’t afraid of a challenge.

Which is why the Brampton resident— who makes his living as a high-rise construction worker— is putting his culinary skills to the ultimate test.

Raposo will appear as one of 50 contestants on CTVs MasterChef Canada— the reality show where amateur chefs from across Canada compete for the ultimate title of MasterChef Canada.
